CAT (Canadian Achievement Test)

This test is the Canadian version of the SSAT*. It measures the achievement in the basic skills commonly taught in schools across the country. The curricular areas measured are: reading, language, spelling, writing and math. This type of test indicates how well the child is doing in comparison to others at the same grade level across Canada and profiles the strengths and needs in the above areas.


CTBS (Canadian Test of Basic Skills)

This test compares the learning abilities or cognitive skills of the child with others of the same age and grade across Canada and assesses learning skills in mathematics, sequencing, analogies, memory and verbal reasoning.
