For students currently in Grade 4 applying for Grade 5 entry, this Canadian Admission Test (CAT) program helps students prepare for the private school admission process. Students will be taught test-taking strategies using a set of tests of reading, mathematics, language, writing, vocabulary development, and spelling. These tests measure achievement in the basic skills generally taught in schools across Canada. Emphasis is also placed on the personal interview and social skills assessment.
